Read to Someone Else

image817

One of my favorite memories growing up was picking out a book each night for one of my parent's to read to me.  Reading to others is a great way to actually improve your literacy skills and the skills of the person you are reading to.  Studies have also shown that families that read together increase the literacy of the entire family and leads to greater success in school and in careers.  It can be a fun, children's book or choose a chapter book and read it over a period of time.  You and your special reading partner will build memories that last a lifetime.
